This original story builds on the mythos of Mary Shelley’s seminal Frankenstein, taking place many years after the death of Dr. Victor Frankenstein. His Creature lives on, slowly going mad. The Creature is hearing voices, ghastly echoes of the cadavers that comprise his patchwork body. The twisted memory of Victor himself haunts him worst of all. The Creature enlists the aid of a Scholar from the fringes of academia to find Victor’s lost journals, which very well may contain the cure for his mental decline. The Creature is a life-sized bunraku puppet performed by three puppeteers, which will tower over the human performers. Join us for a tale of mystery and terror – full of body horror, chilling spectacle, and haunting soundscapes – a phantasmagorical journey into the depths of madness itself.
